2022 was a pretty good year for our events and community support of local artists. We had a year of growth, gratitude, and so much more!  We could all connect with customers in person at the MADE fair events.

2021 will go down in the books as quite a year—a year of growth, recovery, gratitude, and so much more. This year, we were fortunate to connect artists with customers in-person again at our MADE fairs after having canceled everything in 2020.

Let's have a little fun this holiday season. Today is the day. We begin the Ugly Xmas Sweater Contest here at handMADE Montana. For the next week (Dec 13-Dec 20) we are hosting an in-person and virtual contest that all are encouraged to enter. 

For the past few weeks, we have been working on ideas of how we best adapt to our current situation of no events and how we can continue to support our MADE fair past and present artists. 

After much consideration, we do not feel it is safe for artists or responsible to our community for us to gather large groups of people given the current and ongoing surge of Covid-19 cases in Montana. We are canceling the in-person Missoula Summer MADE fair that was scheduled for August 23rd at Caras Park.

Our new show planning is in full swing and the 200+ artists have been chosen. You can expect to see artists of all kinds including some of your favorite local Bozeman artisans. We have added a few fun new things this year including an awesome coloring contest! 

We have been quite busy getting ready for our big summer ahead. Putting on a show and creating opportunities for artists is not easy work. We juried over 400 applications between the Summer MADE fair and the NEW MADE fair Marketplace. 

We are very excited to announce a NEW addition to the MADE fair series this summer... The NEW MADE fair Marketplace at the Western Montana Fair will showcase over 65 artisans per day in the historic commercial building on the fairgrounds August 7-12, 2018.
