For the past few weeks, we have been working on ideas of how we best adapt to our current situation of no events and how we can continue to support our MADE fair past and present artists. Last week, we sent out information about grants and opportunities for those needing financial support. This week we will begin posting our list of small shops around the state that carry many of our artists' goods. In addition to shops we will also be adding art centers and artist studios that are open to the public. We have also asked those selling in our retail store to create short Meet the Artist videos to introduce themselves and so you can get a small glimpse into their worlds. Moving forward we are also planning to post multiple products from artists that can be purchased and shipped or picked up in the shop. This was part of the plan, but more like phase 3 of growing handMADE Montana into more than an event series.

One of the many benefits for the MADE fair artists is a personal artist page on the handMADE Montana's website. Customers can visit the artists virtually on their individual Facebook, Instagram, or web pages and see a sampling of the products they make. We have decided to make them all active and searchable on our site. This listing does back a few years, so if you have been apart of past MADE fair events, check to see if your listing is accurate. We are happy to update it if needed.  We are hopeful for a future where we can gather together again and celebrate our community through art and modern handcrafted goods.

This week Friday kicks off our First Friday series again with other retailers on Main Street in Polson also participating. Ladies enjoy an evening shopping at a handful of small businesses in downtown. Score some discounts, a beverage, or perhaps even a few yummy treats while you shop. We are once again introducing First Friday events and reconnecting to those that call Polson home. Treat yourself to something special during these crazy times—get 20% off any one item in the store!. Ladies Night Out is about you! All businesses will continue to practice social distancing to keep everyone safe. October 2, 5pm-8pm, 212 Main Street, Polson, MT.
