My muses spring from the natural world around me. I live in Wyoming, where I romp with my husband and dogs in the vast, wild spaces and among ancient, exposed geology, flora and fauna of the mountainous west. My passions are varied, each of which influences my work.

I often incorporate Wyoming’s ancient geological textures, fossils and gemstones into pieces. The objects I use were often buried in time millennia ago, but may also have been buzzing around my sunflowers yesterday or grazing today.

The versatility in shape and texture that silver precious metal clay offers is perfect for the organic forms that inspire me. I work with sterling, fine silver and 24k gold. My work has an Art Nouveau leaning with a modern twist and sometimes a little dash of humor.
