Yellowstone Love Song

Andrea is an artist local to Gardiner, Montana whose deep love for Yellowstone exploration, history, and landscape inspired her to start a business where she digitally restores and reproduces historic maps and artworks from the late 1800s and early 1900s Yellowstone period. After souring a unique collection from public domain repositories, she opens these images in photoshop where she carefully monitors each section for tears, folds, stains, dirt and other discoloration. Any blemishes are identified and removed until the image has been restored to its original beauty. Images are then resized to fit the scale of a standard-size poster frame (20 in x 28 in) and printed on artisan linen paper using offset lithography, a traditional printing style that creates a more muted, vintage appearance. The result is a high-quality, modern reproduction with a vintage look and feel.
