Wild Smithy is a nomadic metalsmithing studio. Sterling silver jewelry is handcrafted at the tailgate of a 2000 Toyota Tacoma in various wild locations throughout the Western US. Inspired by her love of camping and the inspiration she constantly found while out in nature, Wild Smithy’s owner and artist, Ivy Taylor, was inspired to create a fully functional workspace she could take off the grid. The entire “studio” can be packed up in one large Pelican case and runs on solar energy.
