Drawing inspiration from the mountain to the sea, I transform nature into contemporary sculptural and delicate jewelry. My organic designs have an elegant fluidity and timeless simplicity incorporating gentle movement that responds to your kinetic energy. Always having a passion for the arts, I began my career in the fashion and costume design industry in New York City. Metal-smithing had been a fascination since my first jewelry course in high school and over time I refined my craft by pursuing continuing education courses, working as an apprentice and countless hours of experimentation in the studio. My designs are hand-wrought in precious metals, primarily silver, using fabricating techniques that include: forging, forming and shaping; soldering, piercing, sawing, heat rivets, casting, etching and stone setting. They are accented with semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, and hand-collected sea-glass and river pebbles.
