Named in honor of her grandfather, a lifelong shepherd, Three Bags Full reflects Carol’s deep roots in farm and ranch life. That early connection to sheep shapes every step of her craft today. Long before a single thread hits the loom, Carol prepares her fiber by dyeing wool, from Montana Targhee sheep, spinning by hand, using traditional, time-honored methods that respect both the flock and the land. After decades of exploring various fiber arts, weaving became her ultimate passion. Working primarily with Montana wool—alongside select natural fibers—she handcrafts one-of-a-kind wearable scarves, wraps, and shawls. Her slow, grounding process yields heirloom-quality pieces infused with rich Montana heritage.
