From the dreams of a stay at home mom of six, with the ideals of thrift and deeper meaning, came a little hand made shop, Still Wonderful. We make much out of discarded knitwear, by hand harvesting the materials to produce yarns and notions ready to be remade into second generation items.
95% of all textiles can be recycled, but 21 billion pounds of textile waste are still going into US landfills year after year!
Still Wonderful wants to put ingenuity and craft on the frontline against this epidemic by turning waste into cherished hand made garments. Heirloom knits that are as timeless and beautiful today as they will be when they are ready to be passed on to the next generation!
