Kayleigh Davies is a jeweler based in Missoula, Montana, creating hand crafted jewelry through traditional hand fabrication and the lost-wax casting method. Inspiration comes from the amazing scenery we have at our doorsteps in Montana.After taking time off from college, Kayleigh’s mother, Courtenay, suggested she look into metalsmithing. She started with a small ring-making kit, which sparked her fascination. This eventually snowballed into what we see today. Kayleigh fell in love with the endless possibilities of metalsmithing and working with beautiful stones, especially those from Montana.The name Poppet Studios carries a very special meaning. “Poppet” was the nickname Kayleigh was given by her father. After his passing, she chose to rename her business in his honor for his unwavering love, support and belief in her artistic journey. His words of encouragement continue to inspire Kayleigh to follow her dreams.In 2026, Kayleigh expanded into the world of lost wax casting. This led to opening a casting company for local jewelers to make their jewelry 100% Montana made. With this new technique along with traditional hand fabrication, she is able to craft jewelry that is meant to be worn and passed down for generations.
