Once upon a time

From the artist:  "Once upon a time..." is a painting that I have wanted to do for years.  I wanted to combine reading with children along with an iconic image of Yellowstone and the famous bruin residents of the area. I love the peaceful setting and the closeness of parent and cub sharing a good book.  Additional background:  As a 5th grader I saw the painting called, "The Reader" by Jean-Honoré Fragonard on a trip to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, and never forgot it.  This is my homage to Fragonard.
