Monticola Studio

Monika Sowinska is a painter, designer, and muralist. She creates paintings using oil paints on wood panel and canvas, as well as with gouache and watercolor on cold pressed paper. She illustrates designs with ink. Her art is inspired by nature and western themes. She is local to Eastern Washington and spends much of her time in the woods and the mountains, adventuring. Her paintings and designs reflect the beauty of outside landscapes, and the grit of the people who inhabit them.
