For 22 years, I was a software developer. More specifically, I built platforms with an emphasis on user experience design. My goal was to make the smartest and easiest to use technology in the world. I built 7 companies, worked for foreign governments as an entrepreneur advocate, and mentored more than 1000 people on how to start, grow and scale their businesses.
However, at some point in 2017, I got burned out and decided to start something new. So in 2018, Montana Crafted was born. I set out to master a new skill, with the focus on creating rustic products inspired by the Montana frontier. From hand-sewn leather bags and furniture from reclaimed barn wood to organic soaps, snacks, and other products that reminded me of Montana.
