The Missoula Makers Collective is an organization formed to support women entrepreneurs and makers and bring awareness to the handmade community. This work is essential because small shopping businesses support the local economy, create relationships between the maker and consumers, and bolster Missoula's already vibrant handmade culture. We accomplish this in several ways, including the Missoula Makers Collective Storefront in collaboration with Pearl Boba Tea; the Missoula Makers Markets; Maker-Education courses, occurring twice a month, taught by local experts; and Maker Meetings, an event that encourages knowledge sharing and relationship building, occurring monthly.
