Clarissa Holmes explores the hidden colors of plants to create unique textile pieces and original art. She uses several different techniques to extract pigments, including eco printing, ink making, mordant painting and more. Most of the plants used are collected and or grown by Clarissa. Each piece carries with it the essence of the plants utilized in the process and holds a connection to where it was grown.
