Kazalone Design

Kaz Chaffin's interest in all things design-related has grown since she was a child, encompassing photography, graphic design, jewelry making, interior decorating and gardening. In 2010, she signed up for classes to learn to make stained glass in order to add period details to the restoration of an 1870 hotel she was working on. Those lessons introduced Kaz to the process of building complex puzzles out of unique sheets of glass, a scoring wheel, copper foil and solder; and turned into a passion that is now Kazalone Design. Currently, stained glass feathers, nature-based projects incorporating live-edge wood slabs and various commissions make up the bulk of her work. Kaz currently resides in Bozeman, Montana, enjoying adventures with her two beagles, Riley and Miles, between glass projects.
