Elizabeth Tritthart is the historic weaver from Bozeman, Montana. Elizabeth spends her time researching historic weaving documents and bringing professional techniques from the early days of weaving into the modern era. Visit the Historic Weaving booth to see live demonstrations of handweaving. Great fun for both kids and adults. This year she will feature her most recent work weaving with CVM wool grown/processed and woven here in Montana. CVM wool comes from endangered sheep, and its use is being promoted by the Livestock Conservancy. Elizabeth is an advocate for hand weaving techniques and tools remaining accessible to all. Her "Weave with me" program has been developed for individuals and small groups of weavers who want to start weaving or build their weaving skills. Weave with me courses are regularly available to adults through Ennis, and Bozeman Adult Education programs.
