Allison Grove Fiber Art

I’m a weaver and fiber artist living in Townsend, MT. My work explores different weave structures used to create pictorials.  I’m inspired by the colors of autumn leaves I discover on fall foliage trips and the wildlife I spot while hiking in the forest. I use naturally colored Montana yarns dyed with native plants and traditional dye plants grown in my garden. I weave decorative pillows and wall art with designs inspired by wildlife, flowers, fall foliage, and Western motifs. Dyeing and weaving with natural materials allows me to combine art and science while staying connected to my agricultural roots.
