Everyday mugs. Ancient Stories. Garber Ceramics has previously participated in the Holiday MADE Fair as Domestic Strata. The Field Collection features hand-carved bison, mammoths, birds, and other wild creatures from Madeleine’s sketchbook. The Flame-Kissed Collection is our most atmospheric, unpredictable, and elemental body of work. Each piece is wheel-thrown by Jason, carefully prepared for the kiln, and then exposed to vapor, flame, and soda during a long, high-temperature firing.Each piece is wheel-thrown by Jason and the field collection is carved one at a time by Madeleine— no shortcuts. These aren’t fine art museum pieces. They’re meant to be used, every day, and loved a little more with each cup of coffee. All of the ceramics are made in our Helena Montana backyard studio by husband and wife team Jason and Madeleine.
