In Chau's cozy basement studio nestled in a 125+ year old home in Livingston, Montana, Chau finds her  bliss in selecting gemstones, sketching designs, and letting creativity guide her process to slowly craft one-of-a-kind, wearable pieces. Chau is constantly exploring new ideas, techniques, and materials, fueled by her passion for learning and creating. Her journey into jewelry metalsmithing began later in life, marked by trial and error, but also perseverance and valuable guidance from fellow artists. Each piece of jewelry carries a piece of her, celebrating human resilience, struggle and beauty. Her mother, a strong hard worker, who encouraged her to explore without bounds, inspires her daily. Snow Orchid Designs is a tribute to her mom and her Asian heritage, reflecting the love and strength she pours into every piece.
