Sage & Oats Trading Post

Major (Northern Cheyenne) and Michelle Robinson (Irish/Scottish descent) met in their former careers of designing and building theme park attractions for Universal Studios. Having left the themed entertainment world, the Robinsons launched a bed & breakfast on Major's reservation in southeastern Montana, where they housed domestic and international travelers seeking a cultural experience. Shortly after the Robinson's moved to Helena, they opened Sage & Oats Trading Post to connect urban and reservation Native artists to a global market. The dream expanded to be more inclusive of our great Treasure State and the Robinsons began cultivating artists from not only the Plains tribes, but all of the immigrant populations that settled here. For this event, we will feature our Authentic Native Made items including: Native dolls, ribbon skirts, apparel, stickers, housewares/home decor, handpainted drums, candles, and more.
