Lynx Creek Leather

Lynx Creek Leather is the collaborative vision of Eric & Helen Chaikin. We create elegant and understated leather elements spanning from timeless accessories to bespoke furniture and interiors for high-end private residences and commercial projects. Our leather designs evoke the natural beauty of Montana's landscape and embrace the unique character of the leather.
Eric's is a 3rd generation leather worker: his grandfather started a leather shoe trim business in 1943 which provided the skill set and tooling that has been passed down to him. Helen is a self-taught seamstress and former math teacher, combining her love of precision to a passion for creating. Our children have been raised in our shop, and "Lynx Creek" is a combination of their middle names: "Jun Kai" (Mountain Creek) and "Saan Mao"(Lynx). With our business we honor the generation that came before us, and look forward to the next generation.
