Jess Wagner Art

My name is Jess, and I am an artist currently residing in Boise, Idaho. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, until I was 20 years old when I left my familiar life for the wild and open spaces of Wyoming. Entering a life of seasonal work and wanderlust, living everywhere from Arizona to Alaska. My art is "reminiscent of the west" and all it entails, from flora to fungi to its distinctive mountain peaks and alpine lakes. I convey these elements primarily through painting in acrylic or gouache, drawing inspiration from my time spent in the West, and tying my emotions into every piece, even if it’s in a hidden way. When I’m not painting, I’m out exploring in the mountains with my dog, Tanana, or spending time in my community.
