Wild Hare Designs

Born and raised in Montana, my art reflects the connection to nature that living here provides. I started making jewelry as a high schooler at BHS in 2016, thanks to their incredible jewelry and metalworking program. After graduating I picked up a torch and saw and have been at it ever since. I began beading a few years later and have constantly been adding mediums to my repertoire. (Much to my partner's and our storage space's chagrin.) Weaving has been my recent obsession. I handbuild driftwood frames4 collected on the banks of the Yellowstone. Weaving feels like a homecoming, my family has a strong history of weavers, and doing it in a way that is unique to me feels deeply right. Still, the ability to switch between mediums allows my mind to work in different and exciting ways and stays some of the burnout and artist's block we all face.
