Mariah Acacia Designs

Mariah Acacia is a multimedia artist born and raised in the Bitterroot Valley. Growing up close to nature was, and still is, a huge inspiration for her artwork, which mainly includes charcoal animal portraits and abstract ink pattern drawings. She believes that art is an essential part of the human experience and should be used and enjoyed every day in simple fun ways. In this spirit, she uses prints of her artwork to create bookmarks, greeting cards, and hand crafted paper earrings. Each paper bead is a labor of love taking 7 layers of paper that are fused together, sanded, painted, and finally coated with gloss varnish to give it a polished, water-resistant (not proof) finish.
