Alisha Meyer Fine Art

Alisha Meyer grew up in Whitefish, MT. Her multi-generational Montana roots crafted a deep connection to native plants and animals. After high school, Alisha moved to Arizona. She worked with a nonverbal student who taught her about seeing the world from a different perspective. Not long after working with this inspiring student, Alisha became a mother. Alisha earned her BA at the University of Montana. She moved to Florida, for her first special education teaching job, and moved back to Montana in 2006 to be closer to family. Since moving back, Alisha earned her MA in Integrating Arts into Education and an MA in Art. She has taught a variety of ages and classes. She currently is the Whitefish Middle School Art Teacher. Alisha’s children are now adults. She loves adventures with her dogs and painting her favorite places in the most magical way. It brings her peace.
