I am a painter inspired by the beautiful wildlife of Montana. My paintings give animals the image of being human and exploring human-like activities and abstract realism. I enjoy mixed media, and although my focus is watercolor, exploring different mediums is exhilarating and beneficial to expanding my self-taught skills in art. I also enjoy realism and landscape. Part of my inspiration is our fishy friends in the wide range of water we get to explore in Montana. Although I only fish to eat, I enjoy painting, studying, and researching the majestic colors and shapes of the wild trout of Montana. I find my work a way to bring a piece of the natural world into the artificial world and encourage people to relate to these magical creatures in real life. I create prints, sweatshirts, and more fun wearables with my art on it.
