Kelsey McDonough

Kelsey is a montana based painter who works with acrylic, oil, and watercolor. Her pieces are depictions of wild places through a contemporary lens. Many of her paintings are derived from her experiences outdoors and are odes to the magical spots in Montana and beyond. Kelsey creates some of her work en plein air, trudging painting supplies into Bob Marshall wilderness, or creating small watercolors of her river trips. Overall, Kelsey likes to create non-traditional landscapes that brighten rooms and elicit excitement for the outdoors.
