Carly Sullivan is the owner and artist behind Madison River Collections, a small business based in Bozeman, Montana. She works solo and creates handcrafted jewelry and art pieces from upcycled beach glass collected along Montana's lakes and rivers. Her creative journey began unexpectedly during a family visit to Washington in the summer of 2020. While hiking at Teddy Bear Cove, she discovered a piece of sea glass that sparked the idea for her first necklace—and from there, her passion took root.
In her process, Carly carefully selects her favorite pieces of beach glass, drilling them by hand using a Dremel® tool. These unique finds are then transformed into necklaces or added to hoops to create one-of-a-kind earrings. She finds great joy in sharing her art with others and feels fortunate to have found such a fulfilling creative outlet.
Outside her studio, Carly enjoys exploring Montana’s trails with her dogs and ice fishing. She also pursues her passion for horticulture, working at a local nursery in Bozeman while completing her degree in Plant Biology at Montana State University.
