Jennifer has a professional background in traditional fine arts and graphic design, as well as in digital illustration, and has been drawing ever since she could hold a pencil as a little kid. She took drawing and painting lessons in grade school and high school, and continued painting in college before ultimately obtaining a BA degree in Graphic Design. Growing up, she was heavily influenced by the Pop Art movement and comic books/graphic novels, as well as the more well-known masters of painting. Her preferred medium is acrylic because of its versatile nature and vibrant colors. "The Jennifer Effect" is a nod to the Butterfly Effect Theory that one small thing can create a significant ripple effect at some point in the future. Her hope is to have a positive impact on the world through her art, and she truly believes in the power of the paintbrush to accomplish this.
