Art is Hard LLC

I’m a Montana-based illustrator and designer, and my work is essentially a love letter to the outdoors mixed with a heavy dose of vintage sci-fi. I grew up with a foot in both worlds. Spending my time on the rivers and trails while obsessing over old-school space art.

In my "Space-Outdoor" series, I use limited color palettes and halftone textures to re-imagine the everyday. You’ll see things like an astronaut fly-fishing in a high-mountain stream or a visitor mountain biking through steep trails. For me, it’s about finding that intersection where the sci-fi and the outdoors meet.
