I grew up in Canada and have been drawing pictures for longer than I can remember. I graduated from MSU with a Masters Degree in Printmaking and have since made Bozeman my home. My latest body of work consists of oil paintings on canvas, focusing on the wildlife and landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. When I paint, I apply the color thickly, working rapidly in impasto technique, completing most paintings in one single session. I love the work of the Baroque, Romantic and Neoclassical masters, hoping to communicate a similar kind of energy and dynamism in my own work.
