Primordial Arts

Born and raised in Idaho, I have grown up surrounded by the vast beauty of our mountains and deserts. For many years foraging, farming, and cooking have been the primary ways of expressing my creativity. With the desire to continue being immersed in nature and work with my hands I found myself at a silversmithing workshop in New Mexico. Primordial Arts then emerged; a creative process inspired by the unique beauty of the earth. Creatures, stone, and metal make up the primary materials of this work. The representations are an alter to the intrinsic aesthetics of nature.
