      Detoxifying mask with activated coconut charcoal

      It’s probably a good thing we can’t peer inside our pores. Chances are we’d see all sorts of grime, everything from dirt and environmental pollutants to oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. It's not a pretty picture. Eventually, those clogged pores become inflamed and, well, break out—visibly.

      The good news is that your body benefits from an occasional detox, and so does your face! Detox routinely with Dark Matter, our coconut charcoal-based mask, for a flawless complexion. Activated coconut charcoal (a byproduct of coconut shells) can bind to poisons, heavy metals, chemicals, and other toxins.

      Dark Matter works deep within pores to draw out and eliminate those impurities, leaving your facial skin thoroughly clean + toned + radiant. Enhanced by skin-soothing botanicals, this super conditioning mask removes blackheads and tightens pores while leaving skin soft and hydrated. When applied under the eyes, Dark Matter helps draw out the heavy dirt, contributing to sagging.

      Uses: The ingredients in Dark Matter have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial properties, making it ideal for deep cleaning all skin types. Highly recommended for acne-prone skin.  

      How to Use: Apply as a full facial mask at least twice a month and/or as a spot treatment anytime a blemish appears. Apply a thick coat of Dark Matter onto the skin and allow it to dry until it turns gray. Rinse off with a wet cloth.

      You may notice that the Dark Matter has settled into your skin. This is a good thing! It's gone deep into your pores and has clung to the serious grime. Instead of scouring your face, use Oil Change to remove the residual Dark Matter gently. Out of Oil Change? Just grab some olive oil from your kitchen. It's not as beneficial or as cleansing as Oil Change, but it will do in a pinch.
