BisonFeather Designs

BisonFeather Designs is the creation of painter and designer Brad DeFrees, also a natural resource scientist. Brad focuses on original Montana wildlife and landscape paintings, as well as notecards and prints. His work is primarily completed in watercolor and oil paints.
He lives in Helena, MT and finds inspiration in the surrounding nature. Brad has shown his work throughout Montana and beyond, including the Helena Farmers Market, Capitol Farmers Market, 1+1=1 Gallery, and Montago Coffee, among other seasonal art shows.

Brad works as a natural resource specialist under the Endangered Species Act, primarily focusing on threatened salmon and steelhead species. He is an advocate for the protection and conservation of our wild animals and places.
