Jess is a printmaker and community builder based in Boise, Idaho living with her two cats, deaf dog and fiancé. Jess’ current work is a collection of art that pulls from over a decade of solo travel, activism, and lived experience, translating emotion, place, and personal history into emotional illustrative work. Jess’s practice centers storytelling, resilience, and the power of art as a tool for connection.
Jess creates a curated collection of clothing based on original illustrations, screen printing herself in her tiny in home studio on secondhand clothing only, offering a sustainable way to wear art. Jess also sells original screen prints on paper and stickers made from illustrations and her paintings. Along with prints on various surfaces, Jess creates found and foraged domes from materials sourced throughout her years exploring the Mountain West, along with paper specimens.
