The Gastropod Press

The Gastropod Press is a small fine arts press in Missoula, Montana specializing in relief printmaking and letterpress. Started by Tristan Boyar in 2023, The Gastropod Press operates out of a small basement studio in the Masonic Temple building downtown, producing woodcut and linoleum prints, and most recently, greeting cards. Tristan's art is inspired by architectural and human forms, the natural world, and the immense artistic energy that seems to swirl around in the Missoula Valley.
