Maple and Mud Co

I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. I learned basic woodworking skills from my grandfather whom had a prized woodshop where we would work together on small projects. I have carried those cherished skills with me today as I make my creations in my own shop at home in Missoula.
My creations are made from lumber that is locally sourced by a Missoula based small business. Lumber is the only thing I enjoy taking my time to shop for. Once the chosen lumber is home, I analyze the wood to picture what would look best paired together, what shapes could fit where, and what could stand for itself in a cutting board. Sometimes epoxy resin is also added into my works when I'm feeling extra.

This process of woodworking is my creative outlet and calm from the craziness all around. Thank you for stopping by!
