Addison creates lightweight earrings using polymer clay, harnessing its versatility and vibrant colors to craft unique pieces of jewelry. Her creative process begins with conceptualizing the design, considering elements like color palettes, shapes, and patterns. Each earring undergoes a series of stages, from molding in clay form to baking, sanding, and drilling.
Established in 2020, Gumball Drop Shop found its initial footing through consignment with The ZACC, a local non-profit. Despite facing challenges during the pandemic, Addison persevered, while navigating the limitations of in-person sales. In the summer of 2023, she embarked on a journey to expand her business by participating in The People's Market and The Missoula Makers Collective. In January 2024, during her sophomore year, she launched her website to facilitate sales and further broaden her reach. With aspirations for continued growth, Addison seeks out new opportunities, viewing each endeavor as a step towards expanding her flourishing enterprise.
