Art in the Alpine

Art in the Alpine is based out of Teton Valley, Idaho and is a one woman show run by Laura Vetsch. She strives to create durable, sustainable goods that last a lifetime and give users little moments of joy and beauty every time they make coffee, a bowl of soup, or whatever inspires them. She loves the process and challenge of translating the inspiring world around her into clay.
Laura focuses on two main lines of ceramics using two different clays. The porcelain line includes mugs, small dishes, large platters, cups, and earrings with a hand-drawn design. The speckled stoneware line includes mugs, cups, bowls, plates, spoon rests, planters, and vases that she glazes with a natural palette, primarily white and shades of blue.
