Jess Janae Black

Jess Janae Black is a textile artist who creates quilted apparel, accessories, and home goods. Her work combines organic shapes and traditional machine pieced quilt blocks. Jess lives with her husband and three kids in Ronan, MT. Handstitching, imperfections, and palettes of plant dyes connect her artwork to the place and time in which it was created. She takes inspiration from nature, community, and the generations of textile artists that have gone before.
