These shadowboxes/dioramas/vignettes are created by me starting in the wood shop making the boxes, to applying the finishing touches. The wood I use is repurposed from things such as mill-ends, flooring projects and sad street-corner cabinets (which I plane, cut and sand), and the story inside is created with ephemera from years of collecting, rummage sales, or my children's toy box, and now - laser-cut images out of baltic birch. They range from 2 to 8 inches square. I also create laser-cut baltic birch diorama rings. They are fun, colorful conversation pieces.
