Have you always wanted to learn how to needle felt? Join artist Claudia Paillao of Patagonian Hands and learn how to make a Snowy Owl by using barbed needles to poke the wool into shape.
Claudia creates animals, mostly birds, using only sheep wool that she gets locally in Montana and from her family’s farm in Chile. You will receive all the supplies and instructions you need to make a small Snowy Owl sculpture or ornament.

Claudia Paillao is from Patagonia, Chile, and she works with her husband, a Missoula native. They make wildlife sculptures, mostly of birds using 100% sheep wool with no stitches, glue, or artificial stuffing.
