Nicole Woody Art

Native Montanan artist creating contemporary mixed media paintings inspired by music, nature, dogs, literature, and life under the Big Sky. Growing up in the Flathead Valley, I was frequently able to explore the breathtaking vistas of Glacier Park, the valley hamlets constructed of rolling, yellow canola fields, the grandeur of Flathead Lake and the majestically purple Swan, Mission and Whitefish Ranges. I graduated in 1995 and attended Carroll College until 2000, receiving degrees in history and fine arts. While at Carroll, I had the visual fortune of experiencing the beauty of central Montana and our Queen City of the Rockies, Helena. Montana is in my blood. I try to convey that in my work and I’m grateful that art is my creative vessel to do so.
