Siri Larsen follows in the tradition of her Norwegian heritage, working with wool from her small flock of sheep in Northwest Montana. She raises, shears, washes, and dyes their fiber, creating warm and colorful accessories with the yarns she hand spins from their wool. Her dyes are all natural from plants, mushrooms, and lichens that she gathers or grows in the mountains and valleys near her home. Her inspiration comes, quite literally, directly from the Montana landscape, in the wool and dye stuffs with which she works.
