Defining Clay

I am a potter that focuses my aesthetic on a post industrial facade that resembles patina and rusted metal. I apply this aesthetic to functional wares such as fermentation crocks with weights, salt and pepper shakers, nesting bowls, oil lamps, mugs, and even continuous brew kombucha fermenters. I fire my work in a traditional soda kiln that allows the flame's path to make its mark on the surface of the clay. All my work is food grade and can be used for generations to come. I am dedicated to my work and have recently taken a leap to do it full time without any other income. I am stepping into my dream of being a working artist and am so grateful for the opportunity to be showcased with Montana's best makers! Come say hello this winter in Helena and Missoula!
