It wasn’t until my children brought to life the outfits crafted by their grandparents, that I found a new passion in acrylics. I began painting my children and members in my family at local powwows.
Raised in Arlee, MT, I married my high school sweetheart, graduated from the University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and later moved back to the Jocko Valley to start a family.
I use vibrant colors to not only project happiness from my paintings but to also represent the integrity and detail of each cultural dance outfit. I've also started to branch out with watercolors and different scenes around my hometown.
